This blog’s name. I obviously have a hangup on elks (”alces alces” in Latin). The Elk and Alces projects are run by a consortium in the printing industry. Germany has always been a big player in the printing industry and for some reason German tourists visiting Sweden seem to like our elk-warning signs. Completely unrelated, there is a Monty Python sketch with the line “my hovercraft is full of eels”. And moose are mentioned several times during the opening credits of the movie Monty Python and the Holy Grail. Mix all that and you get this blogs name.
